750 mL bottle. Light red. Smells of cherry, oak, a little rubber. Tastes pleasantly tart, despite the nose making me think it would be really sour. Vanilla makes the cherry seem sweet. Oaky and dry finish. Moderately sour. Good, even with the slight rubber.

750ml corked and caged bottle into Night Shift stemware. Shared with schen9303.

Bright, deep pink color. Near no head. Nose is hay, wet wood and tart cherry. A bright sourness for sure. Beer opens blindingly tart. Hints of nail polish remover, sour cherry, raspberry, vinegar and a noticeable cobweb and foam funk towards the finish. I also get wet wood, a hint of peat, a drop of butter and lemon. As I sip, the sourness gives way to more fruit overtones but it returns right before the finish. Body is light with moderate to ample carbonation. Foamy on the palate with a messy, puckering finish.

Solid but there's some buttery off flavor in the back.

Appearance: Pours with a slightly tawny pink hue and a one finger head; spotty lacing

Smell: Cherry, lemon, stone fruit and a hint of vinous white wine grape

Taste: The fruit blend emerges, with cherry, stone fruit and a hint of lemon and white wine grape, through the middle; oaky, through the middle with a dry but tart finish

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation; somewhat puckery

Overall: An impressive Kriek but I would have expected that from Lost Abbey

Light reddish burnt orange pour. The smell lets those sour cherries rip! Has supporting wine, wood, stonefruit, lemon zest and some funk. Taste is not that sour in comparison, in fact it is more vinous if anything, with some barnyard funk and slight musk. Feel is a bit bright for a traditional lambic, but has good composition for the style throughout.
