Copenhagen 8/11 2025. 47,3 cl can from DrikBeer web-shop. White can with a small rendering of a dancing bear wearing a skirt. Purple band on the top of the can with the name of the brewery.
Pours unclear golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet and fermented and a little sugary odor mingling with a rough citric bitterness. Sweet fermented mango and overripe peach. Alcohol. Grapefruit and grains.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet, fermented undertone. Lingering. Finish is semi.dry and a bit boozy.
Potent fermented Indian Pale ale. he Right Side of Happiness, indeed.

This is so sweet! What is this, a quite clear amber brew with a flavor that takes me back to when orange-banana juice in the carton was popular. Holding that thought in mind, it's not bad, but lacks the fruity tang of the refrigerated juice. As a beer, this belongs on the other Coast with a load of oatmeal. The brewer coyly refers to their "magical" new hop combinations, and there is certainly some intriguing hop flavor but this is so juicy as to be undrinkable for me. Best of luck! From the 16 oz can purchased in the far Northwest. Dated 01/15/25.
