Gdańsk 27/7 2019. 50 cl bottle from Amic Market by a Gas Station. White version of the Komes brand with the little bird statue.
Pours hazy orange with a big, foamy, white head. Settles as thin, dense, Crown of foam crawling up the sides of the glass. Covers the surface of the beer completely. Massive Lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense and has sweet fruitiness combined with a sharp alcoholic booziness. Cane sugar, banana, grains. Prominent odor of alcohol lurking right behind.
Light carbonation. Soft, medium thick, smooth texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a strong sharp, boozy sour bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter-sweet with the bitterness coming out on top. Lingers for a while with a light alcoholic burn.
More than decent Triple even though the alcohol is too evident. But if you like your Triple boozy this might be for you.

A very nice example of a tripel style. A bit gassy and doesn't hold its head long enough, but quite tasty overall. Similar to a poor man's Duvel. And at the typical price of 5 Zloty (about £1), it's excellent value for money! Easily available in Warsaw from the ubiquitous Zjabka corner stores.

Colour clear, amber. The head has a cream color, fine bubble, quite abundant but unfortunately short-lived.
Aroma: caramel, peach, white grapes.
Taste: wine, dry, re grapes, peaches.
Gentian light alcohol, very high saturation. Alcohol slightly perceptible, do not bother.

Dark golden appearance, nice foam but disappears quickly. Pleasant smell. First it tasted as almonds, later it turned into kind of metallic taste. It resembles the Belgian Tripple beers and it does quite a decent job.

This is Polish version of Belgian tripel style. Nothing similar to lager. Typical aromas of tripel, peaches, honey, dried orange fruit, almost as good as the few of the best Belgian examples. Very recommandable and affordable. Half of liter may be too much for one person but you can always share it. Ages well, just opened 20 months old bottle and it's very satisfying.
