Gdańsk 27/7 2019. 50 cl from Zabka in Tartaczna, Old Town. Drawing buildings with chimneys (Browar Fortuna I assume) and declaration of “open fermentation” and “cold hopping”.
Pours slightly unclear with a small white head. Bubbly. Settles as thin patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No Lacing.
Aroma is fruity, not too sweet and with a dry hoppy presence. Light odor of ripe, sweet Pear. Sweetish malts. Citrus - sharp and sour. Unripe berries. Fresh.
Strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by quite strong bitterness. Lighter sourish twist. Aftertaste is sour and bitter. Lingers for a bit.
Nice Pilsener with some interesting twists.

Re-reviewing after many extra years of beer drinking experience.
Bottle looks kind of boring. However once out of the bottle, I really like the bright colour that reminds me of a west coast IPA a bit. Strong light hoppy aroma, lots of small bubbles.
Taste is fairly sweet, and a little flowery from the hops. It has a smooth flavour that is a big contrast to the more yeasty funky flavour of a Zubr. It lacks enough bitterness to complement the fairly sweet malt. The result is a slightly flowery, quite sweet pilsner that could be so much better with more hops. Dominant tastes include rose, flowers, maybe a little lemon peel and tangerine peel. Mouth feel is smooth and a little sophisticated...
I would love to try an IPA or APA by this brewer, if it exists. This could be great with more hops, though this overall is a little uninspiring...yet it has the appearance and aroma of a really quality pilsner.

I’ve been drinking a lot of this beer lately, always from bottles except in one instance when I found it on draft. I like the rich golden appearance. It tastes really good, with just the right amount of bitterness. It’s become my go-to beer during my stay at our place over here in Kraków. Wish I could take some back to Boston.

Pours clear, gold in color with one inch head. Taste is grass and grain. Light bodied with moderate carbonation and slightly bitter. Not as crisp as others in the style. Probably a pass in the future.

Had on tap at a restaurant in Poznan, Poland in late July. Poured bright yellow as all the pilsners of this area do. Gentle aroma of some sweet malts and grain. Taste isn't too bad, but there's a hint of metallic notes in the beginning. When warmer it seems to fade and the beer is decent, but there isn't really a hoppy note or anything to signify that this isn't a run of the mill Euro lager. Still nice to drink, though.
