Belgian IPA, from Poland. Interesting...and quite strong at 8%, so far all good. Presentation of bottle is simple though kind of classic and grande.
Amber color, lots of bubbly head, almost like a Duvel!
As to be expected from all the bubbly head, there is a fairly prominent bubbly aroma. I am also getting lemon, lemongrass maybe, and possibly a hint of melon. Fairly mild aroma though overall...
Very well balanced flavour. Kind of a fusion between an American IPA and a Belgian Tripel. If this was sold in Belgium it would certainly stand up for itself...
Overall though it does not have the fruity bitterness of an American style IPA, and lacks some of the depth of a Belgian tripel. Flavour is dark malt with banana peel and a background tropical fruitiness.
Certainly well made and complex, one of the better Polish offerings, however Poland make many higher quality more American style IPA's
