32 oz Crowler into Half Acre Pint Glass. Honey-bronze color with a nice eggshell white head of 3 fingers. Destroys the glass as it recedes.
Aromas of sourdough and biscuit, mixed with orange peel, lemon peel, and grapefruit. Slight mango hanging off in the distance.
Flavors come forth with mango, pink, grapefruit, and tangerine. Slight peppery yeast with what seems like banana peel come forward at the end. The bitter, veiny pink grapefruit is very loud on this one. Slight resin on the finish.
Feel is creamy with a tight carbonation and dry finish with slight alcohol burn.
Overall, an interesting take on the NEIPA. Has a lot of good qualities but like a lot of Florida styles it leans heavily on the resin and bitter peels. This was better from the crowler than I remember it being at the brewery.
