Double mashed and boiled overnight. Our Imperial Stout is packed with earthy German buttering hops and finished with choice American varietals. Notes of bitter dark chocolate, coffee, warming alcohol and rich roasted malt.

From 02/24/16 notes. On tap at Gingerman in NYC.
Pours a dark mahogany brown color with two inches of light tan head and low carbonation eviident. Big chocolate nose, taste has sweet chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, vanilla, and cream. Medium body and low carbonation, super smooth.
Overall a ton of chocolate, really good. Can't believe this one is 11%; tastes like 5%. A really great dark beer from Peekskill.

Looks good. Black with creamy head. Appears thin in body.
Dark roasty aroma. Coffee and chocolate notes.
Flavor follows expectedly. Mild delightful bitterness. Carbonation and alcohol lend a bit of a bite, which is nice.
Good.
