Rattle N Hum West
A- Goblet pour from the tap with a slightly hazy golden body and a thick frothy white cap which peaks at about an inch high. Good retention and a massive ring and pillow remain on the brew decorating the glass with thick blankets of lacing.
S- Somewhat faint but the theme is obviously about the hops. A general sense of stone fruits and citrus with floral hints as well. Not enough aromatics to pick up in nuances.
T- Again not a palate clencher or juice bomb but more of a medium hop load. Crackery grains and yeast bread form a base for grapefruit, tangerine, floral, mango, melon, tropical and dank hops.
MF- Creamy and foamy consistency in. a medium bodied ale. Moderate level of carbonation and it finishes with a clean hoppy bitterness.
A delicate hop forward easy drinking IPA. The hops are not bombarding but the brew is still well executed with a clean base.

A: Poured from the growler into a Piraat tulip/snifter-type glass. Body is clear golden-yellow with a 2-finger whitish head on top, which settles to leave a good amount of lacing on the glass.
S: Smells of tropical fruity hops and a touch of graepfruit.
T: Follows the nose, with tropical fruit (pineapple), citrus (lemon, grapefruit peel) and even a touch of pine needles at the finish. Hits a lot of the notes I like in an American IPA. Finishes with a good bitterness on the back of the tongue.
M: Medium in heft, with a modest creaminess to the feel. Carbonation is fine and mellow.
O: This is excellent. Would like to do a Pepsi Challenge with this up against their Eastern Standard IPA, which I like a lot. Curious as to which one I'd prefer.
