16 oz-can poured into a dimpled Hofbrau stein.
A: Falls into the orange-amber spectrum. Looks murky. Fizzy looking head.
S: Crusty dry bread, light crackery malt. Some sharp whiffs of alcohol.
M: High carbonation that doesn't take much of a break. Very crisp, light bodied, but not dry...and not lush/creamy either.
T: Something a little off in flavor with the hops/malt. Maybe too much grapefruit pith, but there's a very medicinal/bitter melon finish. Malt is biscuity/toasty with a strong vienna like character.

This brew has a hazy amber coloring with a white head. The smell is indicative of a Marzen, but the taste is too malty and has a taste I can almost describe as metallic. I would not try this again; I have higher standards for Oktoberfest beer.
