Can purchased at Happy Valley in Beacon, NY.
This one pours a fairly hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like melon, tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, and lime.
This is absolutely one of the better post-Chief beers that I've had. It's got a nice dryness on the finish, with a pithy and clean bitterness, with lots of juicy melon and tangerine.
This is light bodied, clean, and pretty soft, with a really nice drinkability.
Peekskill definitely took a bit of a dip when Chief left to found Industrial Arts, but this shows that Peekskill is not completely irrelevant.

From the can it pours a hazy yellow color that looks orange in the glass. A large and thick foamy head billows up to the top of the glass. Good head retention with frothy rings of lacing.
The nose opens with an enticing juiciness. Notes of tropical and stone fruit include mango and peach. However, the citrus aromas dominate and evoke notes of grapefruit, orange, tangerine and lime. Lots of herbal and dank aromas, floral, peppery and grassy., all supported by honey and caramel malts.
Full bodied and juicy, with a smooth and creamy mouthfeel. It opens with fruity and citrusy flavors supported by sweet, doughy, honey and caramel malts. Flavors of mango, apricot, peach and lots of citrusy notes of grapefruit rind and orange pith. By the 2nd sip, the hops bitterness develops, as it provides resiny, piney and grassy flavors. The finish is dry with a resiny bitterness.
This was a nice DIPA! It has lots of lip smacking juiciness, yet balanced with a nice hops bitterness.

Super Stario presents as a clear amber can pour (not so NEIPA-ish) with a 1 cm foam cap and a faint aroma of grapefruit rind and tangerine. The flavor is full; the cited citrus flavors are prominent and some pine resin is noted. The hop bitterness is moderate and persists in the finish. This seems more like a West Coast DIPA, but is quite enjoyable.

16 ounce can, dated 11/20/18. Poured into tulip.
Pours a hazy, tangerine orange body, with a finger’s worth of bubbles. Pretty decent amount of lacing on the glass. Nose of juicy orange, citrus, guava, cantaloupe, with a mix of caramel and grains.
The taste is a tad different but not bad at all. Intensely orange, lemon peel, grass and floral, pine bitterness with some grapefruit pith on the finish.
Prickly carbonated, lighter body mouthfeel.
A big juicy nose led to a bit of a letdown with the taste. That being said, this is still a tasty NEIPA with an awesome label.

Decanted from a 16 oz (355 ml) can into a conical pint glass; canned 06/19/18 and purchased at the brewery.
A: Pours a cloudy, golden to amber color with excellent head formation leaving an quarter inch, white head with solid retention and rings and rings of foamy lacing.
S: Aromas of grapefruit, peach, and mango mix with a caramel and honey maltiness.
T: Grapefruit and pine flavors
predominate over the light and caramel. Strong bitterness very in line with the NEIPA style.
M: Medium bodied with strong persistent carbonation. Very creamy mouthfeel.
O: This is a very well executed NEIPA. I would put this on or near the same level as any others I have tried and I have tried dozens. Very enjoyable. Kudos!
