An ode to history and the City of Peekskill. Named after the iconic Paramount Theater in downtown Peekskill this beer is a completely reformulated version of the first beer ever brewed at PB. It is bursting with juicy Citra hops combined with bright Cascade and Centennial to form a crisp, well balanced, crushable Pale Ale.

Not the brewers fault but I bought this at Beverage World in Peekskill NY. The beer was out of date by 4 months. Will have to try this at the brewery to get an updated beer. This place needs to rotate the old stuff out.

Odd but good Hudson Valley Pale Ale.
a) I like my Pale Ales more copper than banana colored. But otherwise a hazed body floats a white head that lasts and shards lacing round the glass.
s) Aromas of melon, papaya dominate along with grapefruit citrus.Too fruity for me.
t) Follows smell but gets better: melon, papaya, and grapefruit dominate with too light a balancing bitterness and not enough foundation. Tasty, but trite.
M: It feels crisp but too light-bodied to be taken seriously.
o) A"juicy" APA , easy to drink but too fruity to do more than one. Better in a blend with a stout.

The beer pours a very nice looking white and foamy head that dissipates fairly quickly. The beer itself is a celar gold that looks very nice.
The smell and taste are fairly similar. They both have a sweet pale malt note and a light bitter grapefruit rind hop note. They are fairly balanced.
The feel is good. It's a light bodied beer that is smooth with tingly carbonation.
Overall, a good beer and one worth trying.

Poured from a can dated 1/25/18 into the test glass
A - Wonderful spring yellow color, excellent clarity displays solid carbonation. The cap is pure white and last the entire experience.
S - Tropical notes include pineapple, orange peel, lemon zest, and in that mix a nice grassy herbal element.
T - Very much follows the aromatic, added to that is a bit of too sweet a malt base, weighted toward Crystal malts
M - Medium to light on the palate, excellent balance with a hint of bitterness that props up all the sweet side. Dry finish and semi sweet linger.
O - A wonderful pale ale that has lots of flavor, and aromatics all at 5%. the sweetness could be dialed back ever so slightly.

Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a nice looking silky pale yellow color with a finger and a half's worth of white foamy head that slid off at a fair pace. Light ringy to semi-messy lace wound around the glass in a sticky manner.
The aroma had some honeydew/melon sweetness up front over top of a clean sweet crisp cracker malt that subjugated a slight lemon pulpy scent. A little bit of citrusy rind-like pith carried in for a delicate eventful balance. Sweet grassy hoppy edge at the end.
The flavor had a moderately bitter juicy rind-like quiver flowing over some citrusy to light honeydew/melon sweetness. Smooth semi-juicy to bitter rind-like citrusy and honeydew aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was almost medium bodied having a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt good, fairly low. ABV felt on par. Nice crushable citrusy sweet and grassy hoppy finish.
Overall, very nicely done APA. I wouldn't mind checking out more of their offerings if this is this good.

A: Pours a lightly hazy pale to medium yellow in color with slightly heavier than moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and moderate apricot colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall fizzy sudsy foamy white head that slowly reduces to a couple of medium sized patches of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of juicy citrus/grapefruit, tropical/papaya, and tropical/honeydew melon hops over the top of light aromas of grainy malts.
T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of grainy + biscuit malts with a hint of grainy sweetness. That is followed by moderate flavors of juicy citrus/grapefruit, tropical/papaya, and tropical/honeydew melon hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which does not linger for too long leaving a light amount of fruity hop presence.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and really nice hop flavors + aromas. Sessionable.

A: The beer is a bit hazy yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high bright white head that died down rather quickly, leaving a large, thin patch of bubbles on the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of honeydew melon are present in the nose along with hints of grapefruit citrus. As the beer warms up, the smell becomes more citrusy and hints of papayas also become perceptible.
T: The taste has flavors of honeydew melon and grapefruit citrus along with a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels crisp and light- to medium-bodied on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is a very "juicy" APA and is very easy to drink. I would definitely consider this to be sessionable.

16 oz. can poured into nonic
(4/17/17 born-on date; brew courtesy of @TongoRad)
L: cloudy pale yellow, SRM no more than 3, some debris but more than anything just hazy; pushes up big head of white foam about 1 1/2 inches tall and off just a medium-soft pour; little sticking and lacing but loads of activity maintain a full collar and skin
S: sweet grapefruit, grapefruit peel, cantaloupe, hint of lime
T: bittersweet grapefruit, slight malt sweetness (biscuity) behind bitter bite; mango
F: super light but slick and crisp, very easy to drink and well-filled out by the carbonation
O: solid grapefruit bomb with enough hops to keep it popping over two months old; the malt sweetens it some but not too much
