On-tap at Gitchee Gumme Brewfest - Golden brown with a bit of reddish tinting around the edges. Thin tannish cap and minimal lacing.
Aroma is lightly sweet and nutty with a touch of grassy hops.
Taste is well rounded with a semi-sweet bready tone, a nice addition of toasty nuttyness sinks through the middle along with light caramel and has a clean grassy hop edge to round off the sweetness in the finish. Seeming more like an English brown or mild ale then an amber.
Clean and milding feel that has a smooth medium body, yet has a bristling carbonation, closes with a bit more action then it starts. The grassy hop at the end really helps.
