Blimey it's a bit of alright this bitter!

Perfect cask pint served in the Old Packet House, presented with a golden straw coloured full body with thick tight white tiny bubbled head.

Gorgeous full on aromas of hops and floral notes, hints of malt there but the main components are of sufficient quality and quantity to amuse the nose.

Full on quality best bitter taste starting with a nice chewy malty taste and progressing through to high powered bitter hops flavour without a hint of pepper.

Mouthfeel? Carbonation? This is cask, it's spot on.

Utterly gorgeous and desirable beer.

Apparently this was brewed to the old Boddington's Bitter recipe, and I can see some similarities.

Clean golden pour with a white head that exhibited great retention and put down some nice lacing. Pleasant fruity malt aroma, with some herbal hopping. Lightly sweet and fruity flavour mixes in with dry grain and grassy, herbal hops. Not that bitter. Well-balanced and sessionable flavours throughout. Light bodied and thirst quenching.
