Notes: "Peated Scotch Strong Ale - 9.4%" Brown-black beneath a dark tan head. Aroma: peat smoked, perfumey with alcohol. Roasty. Odd phenolic/plastic semi-unpleasant edge. Flavor: rich and malty with deep caramel and almost-burnt-sugar notes, apple, a soft roastiness, toasty, nutty, softly sweet milk chocolate, and a bit of floral character (probably from alcohol). Some coconut as well. Minor bitterness. Interesting.
