Pours black with a thin tan head that leaves a crown and only modest lacing.
Sweet aroma with Belgian yeast, licorice and cherry.
Roasted malts and the same licorice and cherry flavors from the nose carry to the taste, joined by little char, a little molasses and some rich chocolate.
Full bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and strong carbonation.
This is a delightful Belgian stout. Definitely the best beer I've had here to date.
