Appears a dark, nearing black with a small off white head that slowly fades into a gentle floating cap. Scattered bits of lacing are left around the glass.
Smell is of roasted malts, toasted nuts, earthy, fruity, cocoa, black cherries.
Taste is of the aromas with the mentioned flavors pulling through and a touch of smokiness and dry, black patent coming through.
Mouthfeel is chewy, chalky, gummy, and dry.
