Got some of this thanks to oglmcdgl.
Gryphon pours out a hazy brown color that I would describe as dark amber. The cap was off white with small islands of clunks, yet they don't stick to the glass. The smell is roasted malt mixed in with bold coffee beans. If the coffee scent was not created from the malt bill, I would guess they sourced the coffee from nearby. The coffee is king in scent and roasty yet not terribly complex. taste is roast and coffee with ssome underlining malt. There is some grain as well. The coffee is one sided, not very rich or sweet. I would like some vanilla or anything besides the roast. Hops are barely in the picture but this beer is from Earth and Hops are never in the forefront. Feel is less than medium with a low carb but it comes off somewhat muddy. It glides yet not in a great way. Im all for coffee beers but this one could use some work and a plan.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
