IMHO Best beer on their current lineup although the bartender there the night I was in would claim it was "Rose" a farmhouse ale. American Amber that leaned toward a German lager. Did not pick up the american hops. Very clean, malty, biscuity both in aroma and flavor. Medium mouthfeel, moderate carbonation. If I lived close I'd be in often for growler refills.

Brewed in honor of Ray Deter.

A- a good finger of off white head from a stiff pour that settles on the quick side and doesn't leave much in the way of lace. Hazy burnt orange amber in color with a nice glow in the light.

S- light and simple nose with some biscuity touches and a mild sweetness.

T- a lesson in the simple things. Clean malts giving off some bread and sweetness but not overly so. Some honey and lightly toasted wheat bread. I'm getting some slight peach hints Super clean finish.

M- a step or so less then medium in body and a crisp mid level carb.

O- simple can be a good thing when done right and this one is. Drinkablity is key in this and the malts are what shine.
