First had: on tap at their brewpub
Poured a hazy, golden yellow with a small cap of foamy white head. Aroma was bready, with notes of apple and butterscotch. Taste was sweet up front, honey, butterscotch, more bitter and grassy flavors following, slight fruit tones, spicy yeast, and a bit of harsh acid. Not sure about this one...butterscotch / popcorn can usually indicate a diacetyl contamination, but "sucrée" implies a buttery pastry, and perhaps that's what they were shooting for in this brew. Light-medium body, and fairly decent overall.
