A: Pours a dark amber to light brown color with good clarity and a foamy half inch, white head.
S: Bready, toasted malt with a touch of toffee sweetness and a nice earthy and lightly spicy hop profile.
T: Sweet at first with fresh baked bread flavors and touch of molasses and then a generous amount of hop bitterness and earthy tones for this style. Finish is sweet but not lingering.
M: Light to medium body with a light crisp carbonation.
D: Paired well with a sausage and mushroom flatbread pizza and it is a nice balanced, easy to drink beer. I ordered a second since it was so drinkable.

First had: on tap at Earth Bread, Philly, PA
Poured a slightly hazy darker amber color, with a finger of white head that receded to a ringlet, moderate carbonation. Light aroma of toasted malts, nuts, light sugar, light floral hops. The taste follows the aroma well, malty, nutty, sweet, good balance of hop bitterness coming in mid- to end-palate; maybe just a little stale in the aftertaste. Lighter medium body. Not highly flavorful or distinctive, but still pretty solid overall.
