Listed as a "Belgian-Baltic porter," which I'm guessing meant it was a Baltic porter fermented with Belgian yeast.
This ended up being a pretty basic porter overall. Mahogany brown pour, dark enough to be opaque except around the edges, with a ringlet of tan head that soon dwindled away to nothing. Aroma was pretty muted, with light notes of roasty malts and caramel sweetness coming through. Taste was pretty average, homebrewy, dark malts, slightly roasty, slightly sweet, notes of coffee, and not a whole lot else going on. Body was about medium, kind of thin in the mouthfeel, with a lower carbonation. Not bad, but nothing I'd want to have again.
