First had: on tap at Earth
Darker mahogany pour, still somewhat translucent, with a thick, creamy cap of off-white head that lingered, coating the glass with lace. Aroma was a bit muted, nutty, with mild caramel malts and toasted grains. More of the same on the palate, toasted grains, sweet caramel malts, earthy, distant herbal hops, and a bit of a solvent-like off-taste. I like dark milds quite a bit, but this one was just a little too off for me. It wasn't entirely bad, but I just thought it was on the weak side, even for a 3.8% brew. Light-medium body, and decently drinkable, if it weren't for the perceived off-taste.
