On tap at the Cedar Rapids location, served in a shaker pint glass. Slightly watered-down cola-colored pour, with a wisp of light tan head due to typical taproom draw. Malt forward on the nose and palate, with hints of tart apple. Good carbonation. Finish is crisp, with a bit of lingering malt sweetness. This was a dynamite pairing with Granite City's chicken enchilada soup. Overall, a very good beer. You won't be disappointed.

A: copper in color. Tan head that lingers for minutes and leaves a cap around the rim. Very little lacing.
S: caramel and clean malt. No hops.
T: balanced toward malty. Little hop bitterness or flavor. Finishes with a caramel that lingers for a few seconds, then cleans out to nothing. Clean fermentation profile.
M: medium bodied with medium-low carbonation.
O: overall a little darker and lower in bitterness and ABV than a bock really should be, per PJ anyway. A good beer nonetheless and probably the best standard beer that GC makes.

OK beer. Had a pint at the Granite City Brew Pub in Fargo. Poured a brownish/dark amber color with a small, fast fading light tan head. Aroma is very faint, just a little toasted malt.Flavor is better, some toasted and also some sweet caramel malt and a little bitterness in the finish. Mouthfeel is rich enough for the style. Crisp and light. Not bad. Not great either.

Draft at Cadillac Ranch, served a bit cold. A nice bock. Medium mouth feel, some malt character, not dominant. I’d order it again.

The Bennie pours a copper Cor with a little head. Dry malty aroma. Flavor is light malty with hints of straw. Decent body and fell. Overall, lighter but nice flavors.
