Tap pour at the Granite City in Sioux Falls. Served chilled in a pint glass.
Clear, pale gold colored body. Thin white head soon retreats to a thin ring. Leaves behind scattered spots of lacing.
Aroma is thin with tangy wheat malt, with a whiff of cloves and a faint presence of banana.
Taste is tangy, and a bit sour. Flavors from wheat malt, and background cloves and banana. Aftertaste is rather brief.
Medium mouthfeel. Clean and crisp finish. Bitterness is low. Okay carbonation.
Has some resemblance to style but unremarkable overall. Lacks the unfiltered look that contributes to the style.

This was not all that great. Looked okay but not a traditional looking cloudiness. Aroma was kinda' non descript.
The taste had hints of clove and banana but was also kinda' watery. Even worse it had a noticeable bitterness which seemed really off character. Felt a little thin.
Just not that good.

This beer pours a fairly clear golden color. The head is white and 2 finger. Retention is average. Some lacing on the glass.
The nose is the fairly standard wheat aroma - banana, cloves.
Taste - well, this isn't as standard. I do get some banana, but I get something else. I don't know what it is, though, but it doesn't quite fit in right.
Feel, is kind of harsh feeling. Somewhat more watery.
It's a beer. I've had worse, but I've had way better hefes.

S: Generic malt, a bit of spice
T: Light malt, banana, Clove
M: Light-bodied, crisp
O: This hardly counts as a proper hefe. The flavors are there but it's far too light

Not very enjoyable—was expecting more character. Very weak head with no retention. Carbonated fine. Tastes cheap. I expect more from that place. Dry finish
