Nice looking mahogany...small lace...aroma is light (weak)...taste is stickly...slightly syruppy....candy sugar...a little piney hop finish....not sure what the hell this is supposed to be...a little like a hopped up Autumnal Fire...low carbonation...a tich boozy overall...a solid, but confusing offering...worth the try...

Clear auburn appearance. Nice beige head leaves web-like lace down my glass. The aroma contains light roast, light chocolate and a nice yeastiness to it as well. Not very bold though. The taste contains a good dosing of brown malts. There's a good chocolate taste to it. Kind of like a dry cocoa. Chalky mouthfeel. Alcohol is absent. For a double brown, this is pretty good. But I was expecting just a bit more boldness out of this. This could pass as a standard brown ale flavor wise. But it's a good beer nonetheless.
