Originally reviewed April 9, 2005. On tap at the Gitchee Gumee Brewfest 2005. A nice hazy amber pour, with nice soupy head. Strong orange aromas. Flavors were rich and spicy, with simmered fruit and christmas potpourri. This beer has good complexity and character.

Light golden, aroma is soft and lightly fruity, and sweet like vanilla/honey
.taste is mainly sweet (vanilla/honey) and fruity with faint alcohol..the rye adds a subtle spiciness that really comlements things nicely
medium bodied
easy drinking and not too big despite the ABV
Nicely done
well worth trying.
