Came in a growler, poured with no head. Tasted flat, looked like colored water. Stay away from it

Brownish red with a creamy head…aroma is peat-like…almost like scotch whiskey…some chocolate notes on the taste with a little of the scotch whiskey flavor…medium bodied…a little sticky and sweet in the mouth….sweet toffee...some smokiness..

Interesting but one is enough….They did not really explain to me what this is real well. A blend of their Scottish ale and stout apparently…not sure if they actually blended the two after they were brewed or if this was styled to be a mix….in any case a worthy effort but would fit better in the late fall as a seasonal
