The current rotating beer at Granite City. Ordered it will Saturday brunch. Came served in a longer shorter flute glass. Dark brown in color. 1cm off white head on top. Aroma reminds me of a dubbel. raisins and brown sugar in the nose. Soft caramel notes and fruity in the finish. No hop presence and none excepted. Mouthfeel was a medium to medium full. Great refreshing aftertaste.
This was a great breakfast beer. It paired well with the bacon and sausage. The sweetness helped cut thought the fat of them. The maple favoring in the bacon also complimented the dark sugars in the beer. I fine brew that I would get again.
