On tap at Granite City - Omaha, NE...
Appearance: A light but deep caramel brown. Presented with no head.
Smell/Taste: Of brown sugar and caramel malt amid grain. I can't really discern much in the way of a hop impact.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with minor carbonation.
Overall: A decent beer but honestly nothing special for me. The caramel is a bit overpowering for this sample as it steers me away.

I was served this Dunkel on tap in a pint glass. The Dunkel poured a dark brown color and produced a tan head. The head retention was above average and it left a good amount of lacing on the glass. The aroma was dominated by banana, dark wheat and yeast. The beer was medium in body. The taste was full of soft wheat and mainly showcased the yeast. Hops were not detected. Average example of a Dunkelweizen.
