I visited the Tampa brewery and they were offering this as part of their sample list. Per the guide, it was developed by the brewmasters for competitions and is very limited. Possible release?
Pours light orange with a nice light head.
The smell is mostly like Yuengling Lager, sweetness upfront with a little kiss of hops in the end.
The taste is "IPA Lite", exactly what one would think a hoppy lager to taste like. Lots of sweetness throughout and a bit of hoppy finish.
The feel is where this shines. It has a very nice creamy body.
This would be a great intro to hoppy beer for a drinker of mainstream beers. Good, but not particularly impressive.
