Tastes like a roastier AAL. Good, but not a classically executed Oktoberfest.

Spicy almost rye flavors. Nutty and hoppy, with some lingering caramel notes. There's a lot going on here compared to other marzens I've had.

I prefer drinking this ice cold out of something with a wider mouth. It's sweet in the nose and definitely dry out of the bottle. At warmer temps I feel like the harsher flavors come out and they don't gel as well together, and kind of fight for attention. This beer isn't loud with all of the flavors, but. If I was being more critical I would say this has a lot in common with the yuengling lager, just with more spices and hops.

Overall the beer feels kind of slapped together and busy, but is still very drinkable. If you like your beer to kind of change(?) while you're drinking it this could be crushable. One of the cheapest oktoberfest beer offerings, and I think if you consider that, it's a good value. Just don't let it get warm.

I bought a single long neck bottle from the HEB end cap.
It was medium cold from the store AC.

As I opened the twist off top it barely hissed at me. But the mouth feel is very bubbly.

The color is medium tan.

The aroma is deceptive with malt and some banana.

The taste is immediately hop forward. But it is not a super nasty hop like some are. But just enough so that I almost choked.
I will not buy it again

Pours a mostly clear orange amber color with one finger of white foam from a 12 ounce can into a dimpled stein. Aroma of yeast and bread, with flavors of warm bread and a touch of sweetness. A bit of bite at the end I can’t identify. Mouthfeel is full. Overall a decent Märzen.

Draft pour into a standard shaker pint glass. Medium amber in color with minimal offwhite foam head. Dark bready malts up front on the nose. Taste is malt forward with a little bit of watered down caramel to it. Medium to medium-full mouthfeel. Has a very inviting, toasted and autumnal vibe to it.

Can, Sep 2025. Poured exceptionally well with beautiful head and plenty of lacing when consumed. Exceeded expectations with smooth and balanced flavor. Almost refined in that one needs to hunt for distinct tones of malt or hops. Not particularly rich or a broad range of flavor, but well done for 2025. Look forward to more. Prost!

LOOK: Pours a very clear and bright amber, copper color with an off-white head that quickly fades while leaving some moderate side glass lace.
AROMA: I get a malt base as well as some sweet notes of caramel and some spice.
TASTE: Mild bread malts and the sweetness holds, with some spice that has a touch of cinnamon.
Easy drinking but mostly average Marzen.
