Strong dark lager, with a gentle ruby red colour. A light, aromatic taste, with a rich fine sweetness and a pleasant aroma. We brew Grička vještica (Grič witch) throughout the year.

Nut brown color with a somewhat weak tan head. Aroma is dark fruit and brown bread. Taste is similar with a bit of honey and a slight hop bite. Body is medium. Pretty solid stuff.

Bottle. Mid amber with a thick light tan head.
Smells of a dark fruit cocktail and melanoidin dough.
Upon tasting the fruit remains and the bread diminishes replaced with honey on toast.
Feels medium to full bodied with moderate carbonation.
Enjoyable as an aperitif before my Croatian fish dinner.

Murky red-brown with a nice beige head. The flavor is a bit of syrupy malt sweetness with minimal hops. The smell is similar. A tasty beer and seems to hit the style quite well.

Dark amber color with minimal head and minimal lacing. Aroma of caramel, candied fruit, and bread. Almost Belgian-like. Flavor also reminds me of Belgian beers. Fruit notes like dates and figs. Also get caramel and dark bread. Lighter bodied doppelbock with mild carbonation. Interesting beer that tastes more like a Belgian Pater Ale than a German style doppelbock.

500ml bottle. Poured out a clear, amber color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of roasted malt, toffee, caramel and some floral notes. Nice toasted caramel taste with some strong maltiness. Sharp bitterness.

I am trying this beer off the tapper at the Ul. Ivana Tkalcica location as part of a seven sample flight. It poured a clear amber with white head that did not leave much lace. The scent had nice sweet malt and grain notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with common bock presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

"Greek Witch" - solid doppelbock - lots of caramel, some shellac of bitter resin, creamy - relatively light-bodied, soft and mildly sweet with suggestions of chewy dates - very nice...

Greek Witch beer. tested from a 500ml bottle.
Dark orangish red semi transparent body, ok head. leaves some lacing with a aggressive pour
Taste is robust/rich. Malty. Sweet. Caramel, dark fruit/plum, hint of bread, raisin, spice and maybe cherry
Give it a try if you can.

Pours a clear brown color. 1/2 inch head of an off-white color. Slight retention and slight lacing. Smells of slight citrus hops, sweet malt, Euro yeast, hint of wheat, and roasted malt. Fits the style of an Euro Dark Lager. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of slight citrus hops, slight caramel malt, sweet malt, Euro yeast, hint of wheat, and roasted malt. Overall, weak appearance, good feel, blend, and decent body.
