Copenhagen 17/12 2022. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Nordens Plads, Frb. F. Drawing of an idyllic town with some small white bears strutting about.
Pours clear, dark brown with a red hue, Small off-white head. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with a sharp edge of sour grains and alcohol. Sweet dark malts with caramel and toffee. Whiff of citrus. Metallic alcohol.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, Lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a light boozy touch. Bitter undertone. Finish is rather dry.
Dark, sweet and with a bitter, boozy edge.
