.5L bottle with 5.1% ABV in Plitvice Lakes National Park. 22 January 2020 BB date stamp.
This pours with a clear, dark reddish brown body topped with a decent beige head.
Typical aroma and flavor for style excepting lower levels of hops.

This one pours a light brown color with slight red undertone. The head is off-white, generous and with medium retention.
There is a sweet biscuity aroma, some toffee but in general mild.
The taste is slightly sweet at first, followed by nicely bitter body together with a minimal amount of roastiness.
A great surprise, excellent and smooth. Will have it again as soon as possible.

Although classed elsewhere as Marzen this is more likely a blend of the two brewery's basic offerings, i.e. Svijetlo = Light Velebitsko (Euro Pale lager) and Tamno = Dark Velebitsko (Munich Dunkel) and should reflect characteristics of both therein.
The clear deep coppery to deep amber body gets topped by beige head that fades rather quickly but never completely dissipates, living a thin veil all over the surface.
Aroma is Viennna or Munich malt interwoven with Pils malt; besides it's nutty, buttery and with notes of caramel. The beer is initially sweet on the palate but that is quickly replaced by hop bitterness leading into the dry finish with mildly bitter, somewhat nutty aftertaste. Medium-light bodied with moderate carbonation.
