The beer pours a very dark brown color with an attractive tan head. Retention is pretty good, and there's considerable sticky lacing in this one. On the nose I get a considerable amount of coffee, but with some noticeable vanilla, licorise and dark chcolate as well. Flavors replicate the nose, though the flavor profile is a bit lighter then I was expecting from the nose. Mouthfeel is soft and creamy, with a fairly long finish. The low carbonation works very well in this beer. Drinkability is very good, with the alcohol not the least bit noticeable in this moderately sweet porter.
One of the nicer offerings at Local 180 last night. Not bad at all.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
