Pours a orange color with a hint of tan. White head forms and leaves ample lacing. Cloudy as in unfiltered product.
Aroma had a light herbal and pine note offset by a bready, almost nutty malt character. The flavor follows suit with hop bitterness and gentle pine and citrus notes being accented by a sturdy malt foundation that had notes of nuts, brown sugar and bread.
Medium to full bodied with a medium carbonation level. Certainly drinks smooth and easily. This is a nice little beer, and I find most Blue Canoe products to be very pleasant drinkers.
