Pours a clear brown color with a white head. Aroma was malty, slightly fruity and had a touch of roast. The flavor was very agreeable, like a roasted belgian dubbel. Coffee, raisin, and slight bitterness. Has the nutty character usually associated with brown ale or mild. An incredibly easy drinker, and very pleasing to the taste. Full bodied and well carbonated with a clean finish. Another above average style bender from Blue Canoe.
