Have had this for a number of years at the Sunset Grill in Edinboro Pa. Smell is mild with a wiff of honey. Taste is subtle, but pleasant, not bitter. Not like an IPA. Sweet to the pallet. Reminds me of a wheat and bock I had over twenty years ago at the Five Point Cafe in Seattle Washington. One of my favorites. Wish it came in bottles!

tap
Pours a deep clear brown, off-white lacing dissipates to nothing.
Mildly roasty notes in the nose, some bread and caramel.
Toasty bready malts with some caramelized sweetness and a mild bitterness.
Medium body with a light tingle of carbonation on the roof of the mouth.
Slightly bland, but otherwise good flavor balance and mouthfeel. Drinkable, doesn't feel as strong as it is. Definitely worth trying.

Had on tap on a recent visit to the brewery...Served in pint glass...
A--Nice amber, deep amber with a good bit of lacing...
S--Candy malts, sweet nose...
T--Great flavor, love the Old Chub and honestly, this takes the pepsi challenge in terms of its taste. Tons of Malt and sweet, but not cloying, great!
M--Good feel, not overly carbonated
O--Highly recommended, particularly for the style
