Is this the brewery that I'm thinking about? Actually the beer is said to be brewed by Asahi, or at least that Asahi made this brewery for their craft beer attempts. However, looking on other sites it seemed to be the same, although some info might not be appropriate... Well, whatever.
The beer that I had was definitely made by Asahi (was on the can), marketed as Tokyo Sumidagawa Brewing, but it didn't taste like something brewed by a craft brewery. I bought it at Poplar and these convenience stores rarely have anything serious, let alone a craft beer... Well, whatever.
The beer tasted quite artificial. I dould see where they were getting at, but not how they did it. I wasn't fond of it, it was just a faint replica of a pale ale, a far cry from the original. I guess this is enough for the japanese commercial consumer. Well, whatever.
Had to try it, but I won't drink it again.
