Very dark pour, but with ruby and brown notes when held up to the light. Large creamy tan head that laced well. Mild dusty and smoky aroma. Initial taste is a little dusty, perhaps a touch sour and weak, but it seems to improve with the next few sips. Some cocoa and tobacco character in there, but still not a stellar offering. The body feels a little thin and flat, and this is what's making the flavour profile suffer. A bit of a disappointment.
