Looks like a one-off brewed in recognition of a local canoe making company of the 1860s and in support of the expansion of the Canadian Canoe Museum in Peterborough. A decent job for a worthy cause.
Soft and gentle like an ale wants to be. Malty sweet on the nose and to taste. Nutty, chocolaty, a hint of raisin. Generally sweetish, a bittersweet finish. Simple and tasty.
