Head of the Fest Lager, the only lager we make is named after a very popular late-September event held annually in Peterborough, The Head of The Trent Festival. This great Fall event includes a university level rowing regatta on the canal at Trent University. This lager is only available in September.

On tap at Volo.
Pours a clear dark amber, some golden/orange highlights, thick white head forms, settles down to a medium ring, a few lace spots stick.
Smell is nice, very malty, caramel, some biscuit, herbal hoppiness, a bit of floral, nice rich malts, lightly earthy, a touch fruity, nice.
Taste is similar, big malts at first, caramel, some honey, biscuit, bread, nice hoppiness, light bit of floral, a bit of fruit, nice herbal bitterness, good balance.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with medium carbonation. A solid vienna, easy drinking.
