Couldn't agree more with DoubleJ's review, simply a waste of time if you're in Vancouver. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else if you really enjoy craft beer.

This is an almost 100 year old brewhouse? Hmm, by the looks of the interior and music playing, I thought it opened in the 1980s and hadn't been updated. The upholstery and decorations looked out of date, and the set-up of the place is a little strange. First off, there's no bar. You walk up to a table and place your order, then they bring your order to you. Second, like Howard Johnson's Ice Cream Parlor from Blazing Saddles, Pat's only makes one flavor of beer, Pat's Classic Lager. Fortunately, seven other beers are on-tap, guest taps with names like red devil, Big Rock, Rock Creek, and Tree Brewing. Oh, and Molson Canadian. Pat's Lager only cost $3.75, but you're given those cheater pints. The house beer isn't bad at all, and with a surprisingly tasty burger and fries (for just $6.75), might make a decent lunch stop if you can stand the atmosphere and suspect neighborhood.
