I found this beer at a local Italian Supermarket. The beer comes in a long-necked, elegant bottle (sporting a quintesential Pacific northwest scene, replete with a snow-covered mountain backdrop). On the back of the bottle, it says that this Belgian beer is made using hops from the US State of Oregon.
The beer itself is murky (milky?), and the color of burnt-orange...almost apricot. The head was initially tall and enticing, but quckly falls to nothingness. I enjoyed the aroma...It's full of citrus and just-picked fruit. Grapefruit, lemon, apple, it keeps going on. There's a little yeast in the aroma as well. The taste is a bit tart, with a little underlying sweetness. Medium in body, this is a smooth and very drinkable beer. This was a nice find.
