Served on-tap at Al's of Hampden.
A - Pours slightly hazy amber with a small half finger tall white head, quickly dissipating down to a light film, leaving small streaks of lace on the sides of the glass.
S - Smells of fruity Belgian yeast, mild peppery spice, lots of pale and caramel malt, bubblegum and some grassy/herbal hops.
T - Starts off with the strong fruity yeast and plenty of chewy pale malt quickly being joined by the bubblegum, light spice and grassy hops. Finish is yeasty with a bit of bitterness, lingering long after the finish.
M - Medium body with moderate carbonation. Yeasty, bitter feel works well but I am glad it was only a smaller pour as it began to wear on me.
O - A decent Belgian IPA. I think it is more Belgian than IPA tho. Nice to try but there are better beers on right now.
