Served on-tap at Al's of Hampden.
A - Pours slightly hazy golden yellow with a small half finger tall white head, quickly dissipating down to a light film, leaving sticky webs of lace on the sides of the glass.
S - Smells of some light grass and pine but mainly tropical fruit from all the fresh picked citra hops. Bit of grain creeps in as it warms up. Second glass I had wasn't as pungent as the first, will have to try a third...
T - Starts off with a very strong dose of citric hop bitterness that never really fades away. Some toasty grain, pine and fresh grass help to break up the fruity hops. Finish is pretty dry from all the bitterness, lingering long after the finish.
M - Medium body with moderate carbonation. Smooth, hoppy feel with a bit of sweetness at the end of each sip.
O - I really enjoy the regular version of this one and adding fresh hops only improves it. This one gave me some killer hop burps. I doubt this one will be around for very long, get it before it disappears.
