Look: Hard to rate, because what's the style really? Very cloudy brownish. In my mind, that's what a "cobbler" beer should look like.
Smell: Blackberries all the way.
Taste: Amazingly cobbler-like. Bread/crusty. Blackberries. Cinnamon. All perfectly balanced.
Feel: Medium/Heavy mouth feel, just like you'd expect from the dessert.

Served on-tap at Al's of Hampden. Pours murky reddish brown with a nice one finger tall white head, dissipating quickly, leaving thin webs of lace on the glass.
Smells of blackberry skins, mildly toasted pale malt and the rest of the typical cream ale smells. Taste is a bit more interesting. Starts off with some blackberry tartness slowly being joined by the creamy pale malt, some mild sweetness and a bit of chewy bread. Feel is pretty smooth with some light tartness, not lingering for very long.
Overall a decent fruited cream ale. I preferred the raspberry over to this one but still worth a try if you aren't into the typical bigger beer styles.
