Served on cask at Al's of Hampden. Pours hazy golden yellow with a half finger tall white head, quickly dissipating down to a light film, leaving small streaks of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smells of mild citric hops, sticky pine resin, bit of grapefruit zest, fresh cut grass, hint of light sweetness and some doughy pale malt. Taste is more of the same with the hops strong up front followed by the light fruitiness, very light sweetness and some chewy malt. Smooth, hoppy feel from start to finish.
Overall this is my favorite version of Grapefruit this time around. It packs a ton of hoppy goodness into a very easy drinking package. This needs to be made again in the future.
