Brown with copper edges. This offering had a healthy full body. Rich and malty with a sweet finish that can be pretty much attributable to the pecans.

Served on-tap at Al's of Hampden. Pours deep brown with a one finger tall white head, quickly dissipating down to a light film, leaving small trails of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smells of toasted pecan nuts, caramel and toffee sweetness, mildly toasted grains, dash of molasses and some faint hope. Taste is very nice with plenty of toasted pecans and creamy toffee sweetness mixing with the other flavors to make a very nice brown ale. Creamy, nutty feel with some light bitterness at the end of each sip.
Overall a very nice brown ale. I usually steer clear of this style but this one works very well. Glad I gave it a shot.
