Served on-tap at Al's of Hampden. Pours slightly hazy golden yellow with a half finger tall white head, slowly dissipating down to a thin film, leaving small streaks of lace on the glass.
Smells of pine resin, fresh cut grass, caramel and toffee sweetness, mild booze and some fruity esters come in as it warms. Taste is much like the nose would lead you to believe. Big hit of sweetness up front with some backing resiny hop bitterness and mild booze burn. The fruit from the nose is there but it remains a bit player. Slick, sweet feel with a hot / bitter finish.
Overall I prefer the Citra and Amarillo version to this one. It is not as balanced and the flavors are solid but don't come together as well as the other version. Worth a try tho.

Not as good as Murren River. This one has Columbus hops
